Fleet of Millions: Ukrainian Breakthrough in Drone Mass Production

The global drone technology arena has gained a new serious player that demonstrates impressive results in terms of the speed of manufacturing drones and components, as well as production scaling. In just 2.5 years, Ukraine has become a hub for a thriving technological sector, where unmanned systems are playing an increasingly vital role, producing over 300,000 new devices each month. Currently, the scale of agricultural drone use in the Ukrainian agro-sector is unparalleled in the European market. Without a doubt, Ukraine is a leader in this field. “Made in Ukraine, Designed in Ukraine” is now on everyone’s lips across the civilized world. The Ukrainian breakthrough and the secrets of its success will be discussed at the Ukrainian Pavilion during the 10th anniversary of the large-scale Commercial UAV Expo 2024, which will take place from September 3-5 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas (USA).

Panel discussion: “Fleet of millions: Ukrainian secrets of mass production of drones”, which takes place on September 5 from 11:00 to 11:45, will bring together technology companies, drone and component manufacturers, as well as representatives of the public sector, who will synergistically explore the current capabilities of the Ukrainian drone technology ecosystem, and the potential to form international partnerships of a qualitatively new level, including localization of production in the United States. The event will demonstrate how the combined efforts of the state and enterprises can achieve unprecedented results, where companies create visions and build million-unit drone fleets, while government structures facilitate the formation and expansion of ecosystems.

In particular, the discussion will be participated by:

Valerii Iakovenko, co-founder and managing partner of DroneUA and Futurology, and Chair of the Agricultural Committee of the Pennsylvania Drone Association.
Dmytro Kushneruk, Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco.
Maksym Prasolov, co-founder of Bavovna.AI.
Vladimir Gaplik, CEO of FarmFleet.

The global initiative “Fleet of Millions,” within which the Ukrainian pavilion takes place, serves as a unique launchpad for innovators in the field of unmanned technologies. It provides access to one of the world’s largest ecosystems for robotics development and includes manufacturers of ready-made drone and robotics solutions, components, and professional teams specializing in the industrial application of these technologies.

The project implementation will ensure the popularization and expansion of the Ukrainian drone technology market, integrate developments into world markets, and expand global presence on other continents. In particular, this will encourage the bilateral development of partnerships, where Ukraine gains insights into sustainable business processes, and the United States learns about the practical application of robotics technologies in large-scale production.

Therefore, the Ukrainian pavilion is featuring key players from Ukraine’s commercial drone ecosystem, including companies already known in the market: DroneUA, Bavovna AI, RadioBird, KARA DAG, FREEUA, FarmFleet, Boxo Ukraine and Piranha Tech. Today, these companies showcase the strong potential of the Ukrainian drone technology market and its ability to be competitive on the global stage. The companies participating in the Ukrainian pavilion will act as ambassadors and technological diplomats, representing Ukraine’s technological ecosystem together with the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco. This initiative will be a significant event that clearly demonstrates Ukraine’s leadership in the field of UAV robotics.
