Drone Security and Counter Drone

Like any new technology, drones can be used for both good and bad. As the technology has proliferated, counter drone solutions and frameworks have been created to mitigate potential threats. Where does the policy stand around these solutions today? What does it mean to mitigate risks posed by unauthorized drone activity near critical infrastructure?
