The long-awaited FAA’s Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS) Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) is expected to pave the way for the safe and secure integration of drones into the national airspace. The Part 108 rule is expected to utilize industry standards for compliance. Standards development is therefore more crucial for our industry now than ever.
