Abby Smith

Abby Smith, Founder and CEO of Andersmith Solutions LLC, provides clients with services ranging from drone and AAM integration strategies, CUAS insights, airspace and air traffic control expertise as well as organizational development and leadership services.  A seasoned aviation professional, Smith served the Federal Aviation Administration for 33 years.  She led major innovation efforts in strategic planning, GIS transformation of charting, aviation education gamification, and UAS integration.  As her last act of federal service, Abby co-led the UAS Detection and MItigation Aviation Rulemaking Committee with two industry leaders, which provided the FAA with industry’s best advise for how to safely scale this capability to protect the US and enable large scale drone commerce.  Smith is an ardent champion of underserved communities and recognizes that everyone has significant contributions to make in this exciting innovation space.
