Caprice Larimer-Musty hails from Iowa but has spent the last 24 years calling Alaska home. She served in the U.S. Army for four years as a Parachute Rigger at Ft. Bragg before transitioning to a civilian career. Caprice holds an Associate’s degree in Business from Ashford University and a Bachelor’s degree from Ashford University majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Project Management.
For the past 14 years, Caprice has worked for the State of Alaska, initially spending six years in the Department of Transportation (DOT) within the procurement section. During four of those years, Caprice served as the Central Region’s Property Officer. For the last eight years, she has managed the Remote Sensing Lab (RSL) at DOT, overseeing approximately 700 assets, including 200 drones and drone-related accessories.
An expert in budgeting, planning, asset management, and resource utilization, Caprice is skilled in NetSuite Administration, WASP Administration, and is proficient in Excel, Access, and Project Management.
Outside of work, Caprice is an avid artist and quilter. She is also a passionate reader, particularly of fantasy and horror novels, with favorite authors including Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert Jordan, and Jeff Wheeler. Caprice has been married for 40 years and is a proud parent of three, Caprice values both family and creativity in her life.
